Great Night.

I keep forgetting to be happy
When life seems to get me down

Life is complicated
sometimes you need to cry and let go
but for some reason I always feel stupid when I do.
They always say it's okay to cry,

I keep forgetting to live it up
isn't that what were supposed to do.
We make it impossible
I just want to watch a movie on a rainy day
or paint pictures on the sidewalk with pretty colors
of sidewalk chalk.

I want to eat icecream 3 times a day for the rest of my life
I see my life the way it truely is.
I don't like it that way
I keep forgetting to keep pretending

New York City

I'm in high school. I've been in high school for three years. I'm single. I have a job. A place to live. I have friends. I have a plan for college. I have a scholarship and an apartment. I have a roommate. I have a savings account with money I have saved at the bank. I have a plan. I have a major, I'm going to be a nurse.
But all of this changed. In one split second. When I decided not to go to college at UVU just because that's where I had a full ride scholarship. I don't have to go to college there, just because it was the lowest cost on my list. I decided to work for my first year, move to New York and find a job as a nanny. I hear they make a lot of money babysitting rich people's kids. I use the money I have saved up to get me there and find a small apartment. I sit down in Starbucks and sip my coffee. A boy sits across from me and asks me my name. My life will never be the same.

Questions:
What would have happened if I had just gone to college at UVU?
Who is the boy that sits across from me at Starbucks?
Do I get the job as a Nanny or do I end up homeless on the streets?

Take The Risk

This one's for the careful.
Take the risk.

Because rewards come to the bold, to the risk takers, to the jumpers facing the cliffs edge.

Because you never know the consequences of your actions, untill you take them and find out.

Because 100 % of the human race fails.

Take the risk.

Because you will know once you've punched doubt in the face.

Because defeating your fear feels good.

Because you can shoot for the moon, land on the stars, and lasso the sun.

Take the risk.

Because conquering the impossible feat of landing your standing tuck for the first time feels increadible.

Because getting that trophy is worth the hours of sweat, blood, and tears.

Because if you can't do it. No one can.

Take the risk.

Run the extra mile, but literally. Stay the extra hour after practice to take one more shot. Ask the girl out already, she probably has been wishing you would.

Tomorrow won't be the same now, you've changed the sequence of events. Life is different now. Because you can take the risk.
